The Honorable Muriel E. Bowser, Mayor, District of Columbia will receive recommendations this week regarding reopening the City from the ReOpen DC Advisory Group and now on Monday, May 18th will formally transmit to the DC Council the City’s revised 2020 budget and proposed 2021 budget and financial plan. Said budgets to address approximately $721 million shortfalls for Fiscal Year 2020 and $773 million shortfall for Fiscal Year 2021. In addition, the Mayor’s stay at home order is set to expire on May 15th unless it is amended, rescinded or adjusted.
