Join RI EPSCoR for community discussion about future research & broader impacts

On Friday, April 12, 10-3 pm at the RI Nursing Education Center, join us for a community discussion, "Building Statewide Infrastructure and Collaboration," through which faculty, researchers, and others from across Rhode Island will discuss maximizing current research and broader impacts activities through NSF EPSCoR and beyond, as well as identify strengths and challenges to delivering quality research and economic development opportunities within the state.


We encourage anyone conducting research and broader impacts work in the domains and competencies identified in the R.I. Science and Technology Plan (see chart above) at institutions across the state to attend.

EPSCoR Research Ecosystems Webinar

April 17-18, 2024, 2-6pm ET


Shifting to research ecosystem approaches requires each EPSCoR jurisdiction to revise thinking based on its own unique strengths, challenges, and opportunities. These workshops will allow jurisdictions to connect and identify challenges and opportunities unique to each jurisdiction and then elucidate intersectional best practices to build their respective ecosystems. EPIIC, New Funding Opportunity @NSF Webinar

The EPIIC program aims to provide institutions with training and networking support to develop the capacity and institutional knowledge needed to help build more inclusive ecosystems and enable participation in regional innovation ecosystems, potentially connecting to NSF Regional Innovation Engines.
