Looking for activities to help your student discover new interests, have fun, and build confidence? IPSF’s ACE program is excited to be offering engaging new enrichment classes right before and after school on the Sierra Vista campus for nominal fees.
Classes will be kept small to ensure optimal engagement and safety for all students.

Arts & Crafts
Arts & Crafts class will help you tap into your creative side to produce art you will be proud to display and crafts that are useful! This time will allow for creative exploration, self-expression, and of course fun! All levels are welcome. Taught by Venado's Ms. Jordan.
DATES*: November 29, December 6, 13, January 3, 10, 24, 31, February 7 & 14.
TIME: 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Intro to Culinary Arts
This class will be a fun and interactive class where you will learn how to cook. We will cover food safety, healthy choices, baking, and much more. If you like to cook and/or eat, then this class is for you! If you have taken the class before in the first trimester, then you can still enroll in another trimester as we will be cooking different recipes each trimester. There's a lot to learn when working in a kitchen! Tuesday and Thursday class content is the same. Taught by Venado's Ms. Henderson.
DATES*: November 30, December 7, 14, January 4, 11, 25, February 1, 8 & 15.
TIME: 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Speech & Debate Team - Yearlong
Challenge and test yourself against the best students in Orange County, California, and the US. Earn the chance to attend the California State Championships, the Middle School Tournament of Champions, and NSDA Nationals. Join the more than 120,000 students in the National Speech and Debate Honor Society. What do Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Oprah Winfrey, and Chadwick Boseman have in common? They all did Speech and Debate! Join speech and debate at Sierra Vista and build your legacy. Speech and debate builds leadership skills, improves reading and writing, and enhances critical thinking. All students are welcome. No experience is required.
Tournament expenses are not included in the class fee.

Basketball
Using our progressive curriculum and focusing on the whole player, we teach your child the skills they need for both on and off the court to be a better athlete. Our sport specific staff will focus on respect, teamwork and responsibility as they will start each day with a 'skill of the day' and progress into drills and games making an unforgettable camp experience for your young athlete. After a week of passing, shooting, dribbling and rebounding you will see why this is one of our most popular programs.
DATES*: December 1, 8, 15, January 5, 12, 19, 26, February 2, 9 & 16.

Flag Football
Flag football is the perfect program for your athletes who want a complete introduction to America's Game or for those who simply want to brush up on their skills in preparation for league play. Through our 'skill of the day' students will learn skills on both sides of the ball including the core components of passing, catching, and de-flagging or defensive positioning - all presented in a fun & positive environment.
DATES*: December 3, 10, 17, January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11 & 18.
TIME: 8:15 - 9:15 a.m.

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
A limited number of partial scholarships are available for all classes based on financial need. Income documentation is required for approval. Parents may apply for assistance by completing the Scholarship Application available at www.ipsf.net/ace.
