Looking for activities to help your child discover new interests while having fun after the school day? IPSF’s ACE program, offered in partnership with your school, is excited to provide engaging new enrichment classes right after school on the Venado campus for nominal fees.
Classes will be kept small to ensure optimal engagement for all students.

SPRING ACE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

MONDAYS
American Sign Language (ASL)
Are you interested in learning and practicing American Sign Language (ASL)? Do you want to communicate with your deaf and hard-of-hearing peers? By the end of this class, you will develop receptive and expressive skills, be able to have basic conversations in ASL, learn the truth behind common myths about deaf and hard-of-hearing people, understand events from deaf history, and have a lot of fun learning! All experience levels are welcome.
DATES*: March 20, 27, April 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15 & 22
TIME: 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

NASP - National Archery in the Schools Program
Join us this year as we continue archery at Venado. Students will be introduced to archery through the NASP program which promotes instruction in international-style target archery to improve educational performance and participation in the shooting sports. Students will have the opportunity to learn and practice archery in a safe and fun environment.
DATES*: March 20, 27, April 10, 17, 24, May 1, 8, 15 & 22
TIME: 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

TUESDAYS
Programming Fundamentals with Python
Python is focused on programming fundamentals in an easier format: input/output, variables, conditionals, loops, and functions. Students will develop a number of input/output and graphics projects to practice what they learn.

IPSF ACE Online offers a variety of fun and interactive virtual classes for students in grades 1-6 after school. This session features classes to expand students' minds and creativity like Model United Nations, Podcasting, and Speech & Debate classes.

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
Full and partial scholarships are available for all classes based on financial need. Families are invited to view eligibility requirements and apply for assistance by completing the Scholarship Application at www.ipsf.net/afterschool.
