Hopefully you read our email about becoming "fully matriculated." This is an important step to be able to register for classes as early as possible. Classes at SRJC fill up quickly, so be sure to check your Priority Registration date in your Student Portal.
Pay attention to the important dates and deadlines listed on the Academic Calendar, and please review our
Visa Rules & Regulations page to familiarize yourself with the F-1 visa requirements, including:
Full-Time Enrollment: You are required to enroll full-time in a minimum of 12 units each Fall and Spring semester (or 6 units if admitted for Summer Session).
Online Classes: You are limited to taking one class (or 3 units) online which may count towards your full-time enrollment of 12 units.
Exceptions: If you cannot maintain 12 units because of a medical or academic reason, you must request a Reduced Course Load for authorization to drop below 12 units.
