Mark your calendars! The 2025 Innovate Michigan! Summit will take place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, bringing together leaders, researchers, and change-makers from across the state to explore innovative approaches to economic development in distressed regions of the state. This annual event, held at the Kellogg Conference Center in East Lansing, provides an opportunity to highlight the latest cycle of Co-Learning Plans, Innovation Fellowships, and Student-Led, Faculty-Guided Projects that contribute to Michigan’s economic growth.
Each year, the Summit showcases community engaged research and community-driven solutions that address key economic opportunities and challenges. Attendees will hear directly from project teams, engage in discussions about emerging trends, and collaborate on strategies to advance regional innovation. To learn more about this year’s projects, visit the REI Center’s Current Projects page.
We invite economic developers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, educators, students, and community leaders to save the date—August 14, 2025—and join us for this event. Stay tuned for more details and registration information by visiting the 2025 Innovate Michigan! Summit event page.
