Dear Summer Learning Community:   Congrats on completing a most impactful and important summer of youth programming. At NSLA, we promoted the work of more than 30,000 programs through our DiscoverSummer.org website and media campaign. We supported program partners and leaders of all ages and stages through our Summer Innovation Fellowship, Capitol Hill Internship Program and National Youth Leadership Institute. We were also very proud to join Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona in launching the new Engage Every Student Initiative, and honored to have First Lady Dr. Jill Biden on a tour of the Horizons Summer Learning program in Connecticut .    We now turn our attention to convening and supporting our field through our upcoming national conference October 24-26 in Washington DC at the Mayflower Hotel. We will explore what it takes to Promote Equity, Create Opportunity and Build Community through summer learning programs. We expect 800+ senior education and youth development leaders from multiple sectors and across the country to celebrate, reflect, and learn to support millions more students next summer.
