The Food Farm program gives students a hands-on look at the full farming cycle, from planting seeds in the spring to harvesting in the fall. Designed for Grades 3 and 4, this engaging experience introduces key agriculture topics like food production, farm safety, livestock, and more through interactive activities and expert-led presentations—creating a memorable, real-world learning experience.

Teacher Expedition


Grab your teacher friends and get ready for the Teacher Agriculture Expedition — a 3-day, all-inclusive food and agriculture tour.



You will learn about how food is produced in Saskatchewan, meet the people behind it, and experience it all firsthand. Along the way, enjoy locally produced snacks, dine at unique restaurants, and stay in fun accommodations.

Indigenous Youth Gathering


Awakening the Land, Growing Futures


Grades 9 to 12, join us for a one-day, hands-on experience where students will explore connections to land, food, and agriculture through interactive learning and shared experiences.

WFPF Virtual Youth Institute - Essay Challenge


Know a student passionate about global food security? The World Food Prize Foundation Virtual Youth Institute connects high school students with global experts to explore real-world challenges and build skills in research, writing, and public speaking.



Students will complete a Global Challenge essay with mentor support and present their work in a virtual setting. One student may be selected to represent Saskatchewan at the in-person Global Youth Institute.


Encourage a student to apply and take part in shaping a more food-secure future. Deadline to register: May 6, 2026. More details can be found on our website.
