Qigong, pronounced “chi gong,” is a practice developed in China thousands of years ago. It has both psychological and physical components and involves the regulation of the mind, breath, and body’s movement and posture.

In most forms of qigong, breath patterns are slow, long, and deep.

Movements are typically gentle and smooth, and mind regulation involves focusing attention and visualization.

Qi Gong has been shown to shown to have positive effects on older adult health including physical function, mood, balance, quality of life, cognition, memory, pain/stiffness, balance training, and fall prevention.

The key to healthy weight: Understanding your metabolism through continuous glucose monitoring

With Chiti Parikh, M.D.

You can now get an insight into your metabolism by using a continuous glucose monitor. This is the future of how we customize diet and lifestyle solutions for

each individual based on their health data.

Are you tired of trying different diets and not getting sustainable results? What works for one person does not work for someone else. That is because we have

different metabolisms.

Instead of focusing on calories, different diets, or exercise routines, it is more important to know what your metabolism is doing. Based on that, you can pick the foods that work best for you.

During this 4 week journey, all participants will wear a continuous glucose monitor. Each week will have specific instructions on using that information while optimizing your diet, sleep, exercise, and stress management routine.

This session is a good fit for anyone looking to optimize their weight or address prediabetes or early diabetes.

Session Information:

1-hour Group Session, Wednesday's 4pm-5pm

Session 1: Jan 10, 2024
