ROE Student Photo Contest!
This year's photo contest has had a gigantic jump in submissions and we are expecting more than double the submissions from last year!

The ROE student photography contest is posted each week on Kane County Connects and shared through our Twitter feed along with our Instagram profile once the post goes live. We encourage students and teachers to share the contest through social media to bring awareness to the event and add even more wonderful photos!

Please email Matt Muntner at [email protected] if you have any questions regarding the contest!

The Progress Report is a collaborative discussion space for professional learning. Each post is written by Katie Algrim, the ROE's Director of Innovative Professional Learning. If there are any topics that you would like to see a post on,  please contact Katie Algrim.

Workshop - Collective Efficacy
Join Dr. Sarah Mumm as she presents a hands-on workshop on Collective Efficacy on November 8 th. As a teacher in leadership roles it is important to connect, empathize, and engage in a team approach to improve the climate and culture of your school and increase student achievement! There are still plenty of spots open as this hands-on workshop can help educational leaders work together in finding ways to help the students succeed!

What Does the ROE Offer?
Did you know that the ROE provides fingerprinting services for all our Kane County public school districts? Illinois School Code requires all new employees to have both a State and FBI criminal background check. Last year, approximately 3,894 people were fingerprinted.

Institute Day 2019 - Submit Proposal Forms!
Kane County Institute Day will be on Friday, March 1, 2019. We are still looking for educators who are willing to share their expertise and craft with fellow educators to share your knowledge as a presenter on Institute Day!

We had awesome success with last year's event and would love to keep the trend continuing through 2019. Due to the positive feedback from last year, we will continue to follow the conference-style format with breakout sessions throughout the day.
