Progress is ramping up!
We are excited to announce that on Tuesday Oct. 26th, the City of Phoenix approved our permit - no changes requested! Praise the Lord!!!

Last week, on October 28th, the trenches for the power feed to our new resource center were dug. The electrical work has begun!

EXCITING NEW CHEMISTRY CURRICULUM
This new chemistry curriculum, from John Ashby, guides students step by step through General Chemistry 1, while clearly explaining concepts that help you master this subject in only138 pages. You will find the syllabus for this course conveniently printed on the front cover as well as in the table of contents.

In addition to being a complete general chemistry 1 course, the book serves as a test preparation for:
  • high school standardized test
  • ACT
  • CLEP test
  • college pre-health profession exams such as the PCAT, DAT, and MCAT.

Because this book is a multi-purpose fundamental chemistry self-instruction manual, it will serve the student not only in high school, but also for college and beyond.

If you are interested in seeing this new curriculum in person, just head on over to CHSRC. We will love to show it to you.

PICTURING AMERICA
"Great art speaks powerfully, inspires fresh thinking, and connects us to our past.
Picturing America, a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, told America’s story through its art in forty large, high-quality reproductions of selected masterworks of American art from 1100 to 1996."

Picturing America is a great option for all kids, including artistic kids, and can be used for all grade levels.

Picturing America was originally made available to homeschooling families with the agreement that they would pass it on to other families once they finished using the curriculum.

Right now, CHSRC has THREE copies of this wonderful curriculum. Our desire is to bless as many homeschooling families by making the Picturing America program available for loan. Families can check-out this curriculum leaving a deposit of $125.00. You will have the use of this curriculum for up to nine months. You will be refunded $100.00 when the curriculum is returned within the agreed time period, in good shape, and ready to bless other homeschooling families in the greater Phoenix Area. The $25.00 remaining charge covers CHSRC expenses and upkeep of the curriculum.

In this video, Janet shows you some of the amazing art pieces that you will study while using the Picturing America curriculum.
JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

SUPPORT CHSRC THOUGH OUR AFFILIATES
SO MANY WAYS TO SUPPORT CHSRC
Your donation of used curriculum or books is indispensable to the survival of CHSRC as it helps us defer the costs of having a physical bookstore location where homeschooling families go to receive important information and encouragement at no cost to them.

It is amazing to see how God works at CHSRC!

CHSRC is a non-profit run by non-paid board members, and a small staff of dedicated employees.

The sale of donated used curriculum is the main source of income that allows CHSRC to keep our doors open!

By donating your curriculum, you not only allow us to remain solvent, but you also bless many homeschooling families as they are able to find a large selection of nicely discounted books, all in one place. The ability to combine new curriculum with used curriculum saves homeschooling parents lots of $$.
