Seabrook, TX: Lakewood Yacht Club will host the 35th Annual Harvest Moon Regatta^® Oct. 6-8, 2022.

Important dates to remember:

Entry Deadline - Saturday, Sept. 4th, 11:59 PM

HMR Safety Day - Saturday, Sept. 10th, 8:00 AM

Late Entry Cutoff with late fee - Saturday, Sept. 24th, 9:00 PM

Skippers’ Meeting - Friday, Sept. 30th, 7:00 PM

First Start – Galveston - Thursday, Oct. 6th, 2:00 PM

Finish Deadline - Saturday, Oct. 8th, 1:00 PM

Welcome Sailor Rum Party - Saturday, Oct. 8th, 4:30 PM

BBQ - Saturday, Oct. 8th, 5:00 PM

Awards - Saturday, Oct. 8th, 7:00 PM

Donuts and Coffee - Sunday, Oct. 9th, 7:30 AM

The race entry fee is $325 plus a City Marina Docking/Rafting Fee based on the overall length of your vessel. U.S. Sailing members will get a $10 discount on the race entry fee. HMR is the longest port-port race on the Gulf Coast. It's a fun race for competitive and social sailors and non-sailors. Competitors race from Galveston to Port Aransas overnight under a bright orange moon. Non-sailors rendezvous at the City Marina Pavilion in Port Aransas to enjoy the spectacular Bacardi Welcome Sailors Rum Party, BBQ dinner, and awards celebration on Saturday, Oct. 8th.

MarineMax will host the HMR Powerboat Party on Friday, Oct. 7 at 5 PM that will include beer, wine and prizes for HMR volunteers and participants.

Bay Access is the organizing authority.
