The 2025 ITGA City & University Relations Conference will be hosted by the City of Kent, Ohio, and Kent State University, June 4-6, 2025, with the theme Communicate, Collaborate, & Celebrate! The conference will highlight the importance of effective communication and collaboration between public and private sectors, as well as celebrating successes that inspire future excellence. ITGA invites you to submit proposals for conference presentations through Friday, February 21, 2025. The conference program is divided into thematic tracks designed to encourage presentations from university and municipal representatives, community members, public safety professionals, students, and experts in related fields.

Conference Highlights - Registration Required

Pre-conference Workshop: June 3, 8:00am-12:00pm 

The Pre-Conference event will focus on Civil Unrest: Preparing and Responding to Modern Demonstrations, with a special emphasis on the tragic events of May 4th, 1970, at Kent State University. 

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame: June 3, 1:00pm-5:00pm 

In 2018, it was reported that the iconic Rock Hall had welcomed over 12 million visitors since 1995. Register for this event and enjoy learning more about the diverse artists and sounds that define rock and roll.

Preconference Networking: June 3, 6:00pm-8:00pm 

Join us at the Bell Tower Brewing Co., Kent’s first brewpub offering hand crafted beer and cocktails that perfectly complement our seasonally inspired cuisine. Enjoy networking with colleagues.
