The GDEI provides companies the opportunity to benchmark their inclusion efforts within their own industry, see how company-wide policies are implemented in satellite locations across the world, and give feedback on establishing a baseline for inclusion in differing cultural contexts. The GDEI is currently in Phase II of its pilot, and is being offered free of charge.

The Global DEI timeline is as follows:

• July 18, 2022: Registration opens 
• September 5, 2022: Questionnaire open to registrants
• December 16, 2022: Deadline for submission
• January 30, 2023: Scorecards and analysis sent to participants
• February–March 2023: Deep Dives and report on results

There is no cap on the number of countries your company can submit, and no minimum. The median number of countries submitted is 4.
