Each individual planning to attend from your hospital (even those who may only attend one session) must create an account with BroadcastMed and register themselves. If an individual attended a previous learning session, they should use their existing BroadcastMed credentials.

Please follow the registration steps detailed at the bottom of this email.

Who Should Attend

All members of SPS hospitals are welcome to attend the virtual learning series. SPS does not limit the number of attendees from each hospital. Each individual planning to attend (even those who may only attend one session) must register themselves.

Each session has a designated target audience, which can be found on page two of the at-a-glance agenda. We encourage participants to register for the series and mark their calendars for sessions that are relevant to them. SPS project managers and quality leaders should facilitate the sharing of registration information with target audience members on their team.

Additional details about individual sessions, including topics, and objectives, can be found by viewing the agenda!

Please note, CME is not offered for this learning series.

Action Needed: Submit Your Hospital's Request for Help

During Session #2 of the upcoming Virtual Winter Learning Series, taking place on Dec. 5 from 2-4 p.m. ET, attendees will participate in a Ring of Reciprocity activity. The Ring of Reciprocity is a group exercise which makes asking for and offering help easy. During this activity, hospital teams will make a commitment to help their regional peers with their respective support needs.

We are asking SPS Quality Leaders to submit a single request for help on behalf of each hospital by Nov. 1.

Requests for help could be anything related to the SPS safety portfolio. Please discuss with your teams to determine what would be most helpful for your organization. For example:

  1. Our hospital is looking for a way to better showcase our quality and safety data to our Quality Committee. We are looking for dashboard examples from other hospitals in the region on how their data is displayed and shared with leadership.
  2. Our hospital would like to start stratifying our CLABSI and UE data by race and ethnicity and could use examples from other hospitals in the region to help get us started.
  3. Our hospital would like to create a BERT team for patient escalations. We are looking for hospitals to shadow their process.

Please note – only one response per hospital is requested.

Thank you for your contribution to a network that shares graciously.

Steps for Registration

To ensure you've successfully registered for the event, please follow the steps detailed below.

  1. Navigate to the registration page.
  2. Create an account with BroadcastMed on our SPS Winter Virtual Learning Series event site. If you attended the Spring National Learning Session, you must log in with your existing credentials. (This will be used later on to login for the event and is not associated with SPS SharePoint. Please note, all credentials are case-sensitive.)
  3. Continue filling out the registration form.
  4. Please make sure to indicate on the registration form which sessions you plan on attending.
  5. Confirm registration (Please disregard the cost table. This is a no-cost event.)
  6. You will receive a registration confirmation email once registration is complete (You'll also see a checkmark next to your registration tab once finished. Please note, this email may be delivered to your spam folder. Reach out to support@broadcastmed.io if you do not receive it.)

This registration process does not allow for one person to register multiple attendees. We ask that you forward this email to any person from your hospital who will be attending. Every attendee will need to create their own account so they can successfully log in on the day of the event.

If you have any questions or changes to your registration, please reach out to SPS.
