Dear ACC Faculty,

My name is Sabyrna Groves and I'd like to invite you to attend the Office of Experiential Learning's Rubric Development Workshop taking place via Zoom on Friday, February 17th, 2023, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.

Whether you're teaching a service-learning course or just need to brush up on your skills, this workshop is for you. Participants will walk away from this experience with a working understanding of assessment fundamentals as well as a template rubric aligned with their learning objectives.

As a non-traditional teaching method, service-learning requires a non-traditional assessment strategy. This workshop will walk you through the process of writing service-learning objectives and weaving those objectives into a rubric that you can use for a project of your own. Faculty who are not familiar with service-learning are still encouraged to join!
Date: Friday, February 17, 2023
Time: 1PM - 3PM
Zoom Invite will be sent upon enrollment

Open to all faculty interested in learning more about rubrics.
The principles of rubric development that we will be exploring can apply to any assessment strategy you may be implementing.
Thank you,

Sabryna Groves
