Quality/safety leaders, please partner with your hospital’s SPS project manager(s) to identify up to four individuals from your hospital who will attend this learning session. Please review the target audience list (left) carefully and only share the registration link with the appropriate individuals. 


What's In Store:

During the three-day event, leaders will have the opportunity to collaborate with other pediatric safety and quality peers and discuss how to integrate proactive safety principles into their organization’s safety strategy. There will also be examples from external industry experts to build systems rooted in learning from the frontline and everyday work.

REGISTER TO ATTEND THE MAIN LEARNING SESSION

Target audience members from all SPS hospitals are welcome to attend. Each network hospital will be able to register up to four members. Registration will close on April 11 or as soon as capacity is reached. Presenters invited by SPS do not count toward the four-member max but still must register for the event. Note: Immersion registration (details below) is separate from the main Learning Session and attendees who choose to stay for the main session (not required) do count toward the four-member max, and must register for both.


Each individual planning to attend from your hospital must create an account with BroadcastMed and register themselves, including all presenters. If an individual attended a previous SPS learning session, they should use their previous login credentials.

NEW PRE-SESSION - SEPARATE REGISTRATION

SPS is hosting a new Pre-Session: Proactive Safety Immersion Training for Executive Leaders on Wednesday, May 14 from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. CT (prior to main session kick-off). Capacity is limited to two executives from each hospital.

 

This one-day session is focused on applying modern safety principles to organizational leadership. Recommended participants are those who set the organizational safety strategy and make high-level safety plan resourcing decisions (including hospital system leaders). By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Understand core principles of proactive safety and the need for a new perspective in healthcare.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate innovative learning methods into hospital safety practices.
  • Join a network of leaders committed to advancing safety within their hospitals.


Note: Immersion registration is separate from the main Learning Session and attendees who choose to stay for the main session (not required) do count toward the four-member max, and must register for both.
