May 31 Meeting with Two Distinguished Speakers |
Greetings!
AAHPO's upcoming dinner meeting on Friday, May 31 will feature two distinguished speakers, Lynn T. Cetin, MD and Gregory Kazandjian, DDS. (this meeting has been rescheduled from April 19). The meeting will be at Sevan Restaurant, 216-07 Horace Harding Expy, Bayside, NY. Dinner will be served at 7:30 pm, and the presentations will begin at 8:30 pm.

Pediatrician Lynn T. Cetin, MD received her BA with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Residency at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and started her pediatric medical career in academia. With a passion for education and teaching, Dr. Cetin spent 4 years on faculty at Stony Brook University Hospital and 3 years on faculty at North Shore University Hospital before becoming a partner at ProHEALTH Care Associates, LLP in Lake Success, New York.
Dr. Cetin will speak on "What is Social Media Doing to Our Children and Families?"

Periodontist Gregory Kazandjian, DDS, MS was born in Bucharest, Rumania. He earned his dental degree from Georgetown University, and a masters degree from New York University. He is head of the Periodontal Department and director of the Periodontal Residency Program at the VA Medical Center, New York. Dr. Kazandjian is Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontology and Surgical Sciences at New York University, and Director of NYU's Mini-Residency Program. Dr. Kazandjian is the author of Periodontics, Nairi, 2009 - the first Armenian book on the subject.
Dr. Kazandjian will speak on two topics:
- "Mechitar Pejeshkabed - Master Physician of Cilician Armenia"
- "Reflections on Periodontal Disease in Armenia"
