UPDATE- WE'VE ADDED A FEW MORE TO OUR ALREADY DYNAMIC LINE-UP!!! Aicha Abdoulaye, a survivor with the help of the Tahirih Justice Center, and Judith Bakirya, a trailblazer in food security in Uganda.
Here is a short news story by BBC on Judith Bakirya showing her work on the farm, business and training small farmers in Uganda, mostly women. She was named one of BBC's 100 Women* in 2019. https://youtu.be/83RIWs4saiU
Registration is now open for BRIDGE II. Join us for our "Justice for Women" three-day conference. It is open to all who care about women.
August 26, 2022 is Women's Equality Day. To celebrate the anniversary of women demanding the right to vote in 1920 and to focus on the rights women still need to achieve equity and justice, we will come together that weekend to learn, collaborate, and heal. I am so excited about our line-up of professionals who are dedicated to improving the lives of women around the world. We will explore the intersection of race and gender, patriarchy, self-care, peace and security, and how we call all help to heal humanity from the continuing traumas of hyper masculinity, racism, and sexism.
Here's our line-up: Presentations are 20-45 minutes each.
