Donna Jackson Nakazawa is an award-winning journalist and internationally recognized speaker whose work explores the intersection of neuroscience, immunology, and human emotion. Her mission is to translate emerging science in a way that helps those with chronic conditions find healing.

Donna has written six books including "Childhood Disrupted: How Your Biography Becomes Your Biology, and How You Can Heal", the focus of her lecture during this conference. This book connects the dots between Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and the physical and mental suffering many youth and adults live with.
