Join us for 3 new and exciting educational seminars this summer.Learn the benefits of the Kinesio Taping Method and begin working towards the Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP) designation with the KT1 & KT2 courses. Gain your CKTP certification with KT3. This course will combine the concepts and techniques learned in the KT1 and KT2 courses for more advanced application. The all new KT 4 Advanced Orthopedic and Sports Course is designed to give attendees guidelines on how to combine the concepts learned in the KT1, KT2, and KT3 courses with the concepts of sport medicine. Although Kinesio Taping has been around for over 25 years, the technique gained worldwide exposure during the last Olympic Games and has quickly become the preferred taping techniqe for many professional trainers, therapists and other healthcare practitioners. |
 KT1 Overview The KT1 course is designed to introduce practitioners to the Kinesio Taping Method. Over the course of this 8 hour class, the instructor will discuss the fundamental concepts of the Kinesio Taping Method while discussing the unique properties and use of Kinesio Tex Tape. During lab sessions, attendees will have ample time to practice screening and muscle testing created for the enhancement of your KT skills and muscle applications for both the upper and lower body. Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to discuss and apply the Kinesio Taping Method to relax overuse syndromes, stimulate weak muscles, and decrease pain and swelling. |
 KT2 Overview
The KT2 course builds on the material learned in KT1. During this 8 hour class, the instructor will introduce the six Corrective Techniques (Mechanical, Functional, Space, Fascia, Ligament / Tendon, and Lymphatic) and discuss their application in a variety of clinical conditions. During lab sessions, attendees will have ample time to practice applying these techniques to a variety of upper and lower body conditions. Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to discuss and apply the KT Method to many orthopedic & neurological conditions.

 KT3 Overview
This course will combine the concepts and techniques learned in the KT1 and KT2 courses for more advanced application.
It is designed to be taken a minimum of 4 weeks after the completion of KT1 and KT2 courses, to allow practitioners time to implement taping skills in the clinic and be able to apply practical knowledge and skill during the KT3 course.

 Andrea Wolkenberg PT, MA, CKTI
Andrea graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1979 with a degree in Physical Therapy. In 2001, Andrea became a Certified Kinesio Taping Method Instructor, and is one of only 5 instructors in the Mid Atlantic Region.
She is currently the Director of Physical Therapy at Spine Options, a pain management center in White Plains, NY, specializing in the conservative treatment of back and neck pain. She is also the President of SPINE SOLVERS INC., her own company which provides physical therapy services to individuals, injury prevention and workplace safety seminars to businesses, and Kinesio Taping seminars to health care professionals.
