This year's Annual Meeting will include a plenary session on artificial intelligence: The Landscape of Artificial Intelligence in the Legal Profession: Trends, Implications, and Ethical Considerations (JBEC/MCLE 1.25 Technology Credits).


This is a joint session with the California Lawyers Association at Signia Hotel. This presentation will cover the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence along with the latest advancements in AI technologies and their applications, the current legal landscape surrounding AI including the integration and potential of AI in judicial processes, the practical implications, and challenges of AI in legal practices, and the ethical considerations surrounding AI use in the legal profession. It will highlight trends, implications, and ethical frameworks tailored to a diverse audience presented by a technology expert, a judge with AI expertise in court processes, an attorney leading the CLA’s task force on AI, and an ethics specialist.
