Update:
PATH Intl. Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructor
Current PATH Intl. Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructors
There are several things of which you need to be aware and a few necessary actions required to prepare yourself for transitioning to the new PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) credential.
You must complete transition to the CTRI credential with your 2020 renewal and no later than December 31, 2020, to maintain active PATH Intl. certification into 2021.

Get started by completing payment for the CTRI Maintenance Fee to initiate enrollment in the online test. (Please allow three business days for enrollment.)

Once you’ve successfully passed the test, fill out the CTRI Transition Form and email it to [email protected] to finish the transition process. It’s that simple! Questions? Contact Brittney Holdman .

Wondering how to prepare for the online 25 multiple-choice question test? See some study tips  here .

See a breakdown of anticipated costs for completing the transition process   here .
Former PATH Intl. Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructors must accrue 120 hours of teaching therapeutic riding lessons OR document acceptable allowances before supervising the teaching hours of PATH Intl. CTRI applicants.
Consider using the teaching hour tracking tool  to ensure  well organized and legible documentation in the event you are requested to provide proof of your teaching hours during randomized audits   by PATH Intl.

Review  this document  in order to determine if you are eligible to take any allowances.  Please note the requirements and deadlines found on the rubric and submit the completed and signed rubric form with any required information.

Wondering how you can support PATH Intl. CTRI applicants in the meantime? You can potentially supervise and sign off on the following portions of the CTRI application :
Part I: Option A
Part II: Option A
Part IV: Option A
