SCHOOL NEWS
HEALTHY SNACK FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED
It's time to resupply the BHS Food Cupboard for students in need.  The students in need are not always the people you would expect.  Please consider donating non-perishable food items like granola bars when you stock up your own pantry for back to school.  A bag of apples or oranges will go quick so feel free to bring them in even if they are perishable.  The kids are hungry and are grateful for whatever you want to donate. There are a number of students from all members of our community that stop in for a quick snack in the morning, between classes or after school before an activity.  Please bring your donations to the Activities Office and say the donation is for the Food Cupboard.  Thank you from the school counselors, clinic, school secretaries, Support Fund, PTSA and most of all the kids.

SPOTLIGHT BELLEVUE

Showcasing our Students, Celebrating our School

May 1, 2013, 6-8pm at BHS

The PTSA has created a new concept this Spring and we need your help.  Instead of having an auction, we are planning a Celebration of our Students and Newly Remodeled School.  We plan to have an Open House at BHS to showcase the wonderful attributes of our students - all departments will be involved from drama and arts to all academics areas and sports.  Parents and students are welcome to come celebrate what makes Bellevue special while touring our new school.  We hope to have a "pass the hat"  or silent auction element to the evening as well.  There is no cost to attend the event.  The evening is positioned as a celebration and as an inclusive evening for the parent, student, staff and alumni population.

Your PTSA Executive Committee is thrilled to announce that the co-chairs for Spotlight Bellevue are Dina Johnson and Ally Svenson. Please mark your calendars for this must-attend celebration on May 1st from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Bellevue High School.  Stay tuned for more details! Thank you Dina and Ally!

NEED YOUR HELP
Grad Night is a tradition at Bellevue High School. This event is a party which starts after graduation and lasts all night, taking graduates to different venues on chaperoned party buses, and keeping them safe. As a group, senior parents raise money throughout their student's high school career, to pay many of the costs associated with Grad Night, Baccalaureate, Senior Brunch, Senior Reception, and Prom.  Click here for more information and ways you can help.
