Early Registration Rates Extended
The Deadline for discounted registration rates has been extended through September 9 - be sure to register soon to take advantage of the savings.

Housing at the host hotel is currently full, but the DoubleTree Hotel is offering discounted rates to meeting participants through September 9.

Justice Counts Unveils New 50-State Scan of Criminal Justice Data
As part of the Bureau of Justice Assistance's Justice Counts initiative, researchers from Recidiviz and The Council of State Governments Justice Center conducted a comprehensive review of corrections and jails data. Through a national dashboard, state specific data is provided for collective, as well as detailed review. Click below to learn more.
U.S. Supreme Court Updates & Discussions
The state and Local Legal Center (SLLC) is hosting a series of virtual sessions providing updates and facilitating discussion on various aspects of U.S. Supreme Court cases and their relevance to state governance. Topics include an annual preview of upcoming cases, a deep dive into two election related cases, and a review of administrative and environmental cases. The State of the Climate
Released each summer, the State of the Climate is an annual summary of the global climate published as a supplement to the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society. Compiled by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) National Centers for Environmental Information, the report is based on contributions from scientists from around the world and provides a detailed update on global climate indicators, notable weather events, and other data collected.
