Online registration for the assembly will be open beginning July 19, 2020 and will close on August 13, 2020 . The base registration fee is $75 per voting member. The registration fee for retired rostered leaders who are NOT currently serving a congregation and wish to register as a voting member is $10. Only voting members with a unique email address will be able to register. A unique email address is necessary to receive essential information about the upcoming Virtual Assembly and to receive voting access codes. For this virtual assembly, email will be the primary form of communication to all voting members, and the only way to authenticate voting members. Because of this, there will be NO late registration. If an emergency substitution of a lay voting member is necessary , there will be some ability to do so after the registration deadline; however, there will not be any ability to do so after August 31, 2020.

The assembly will be livestreamed and viewable on the synods YouTube Channel or website for anyone wishing to watch. Registration is not required to view the livestream.

Grants are available for any Northeastern Oho Synod congregation or rostered minister needing financial assistance with registration fees. To request grant assistance please send your request with the name(s) of the voting member(s) to [email protected] . Upon approval, an email will be sent with a promo code to the requesting email address. DO NOT register before receiving the promo code .

Lay Synod Council members NOT serving as a voting member for their congregation may register as a synod council assembly voting member for free. A special discount code has been emailed to all lay synod council members. If you did not receive this code please email [email protected] and request the code.

You must register for this assembly even if you already registered for the original June dates . Those who previously registered and paid by debit/credit card should have or will receive a full refund; you will have to pay again when registering for the Virtual Synod Assembly, since the online processing system does not allow for partial refunds. The full refund of your original registration fee will be processed to your original debit/credit card.

Those who previously registered and paid with a check will receive a promo code to use for re-registering. After you have re-registered with the promo, code, you will receive a check for any excess fee collected in the spring registration process. You will need to use this code to avoid being billed later. If you paid with a check and wish to completely cancel your original registration, and do not wish to re-register, please contact the synod office by email at [email protected] to ask for a refund.
