The mission of Little League is to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities through baseball and softball. We can't do this important work without your help. Little League is run 100% by parent volunteers and we are asking each Northshore Little League family to commit to volunteering in some capacity during the spring season.  There will be many opportunities (both large and small) to volunteer throughout the season including manager, assistant coach, team safety parent, umpire, scorekeeper, and many more!  

Northshore Little League baseball and softball strives to create a positive environment where all kids can learn and grow. It takes all of us doing our part to model and support a positive environment for our players. At the first practice at all levels, all parents and players will be required to sign our NSLL code of conduct. Thank you for helping us build a positive NSLL community!

Winter training gives all NSLL players an opportunity to shed the off-season rust and sharpen their skills as they get ready for evaluations (February) and further prepare for the season which begins in March. We believe winter training lays the foundation for a successful season for our NSLL teams at all levels.

Training will take place at Mariner's Training Center-Woodinville, on Saturday nights beginning on January 6th and will run through February. Players will be grouped by age/skill and get one hour of instruction each week, focused on throwing, fielding, and hitting. Participants will also receive a t-shirt!  

Winter Training is open to all NSLL baseball and softball players age 8 and up. Registration for winter training will open soon!

We still have a few board positions to fill. Please consider joining our fun and collaborative board. We need your help to guide and strengthen all aspects of Northshore Little League.

Umpire In Chief - will oversee recruitment, training, communication with District 8 and will oversee questions and concerns during the season.

Umpire In Chief Softball - will oversee recruitment, training, communication with District 8 and will oversee questions and concerns during the season.

Umpire Scheduler - will oversee the master umpire schedule (don't need to be an umpire to handle this).

Teen Baseball/Softball Coordinator - handle the recruitment of teen players, assist with manager selection and will communicate with District 8.

Travel Softball Coordinator - will run the off season travel ball program. This program is already up and running for this offseason, will focus on recruitment and tryout for the 2024/2025 off season.

Field Maintenance - This could be an adult OR a teenager with a driver's license that needs volunteer hours. In charge of keeping the equipment boxes stocked at all of the practice fields, will work with the equipment manager.

All board positions must be filled in order for us to start our season.

Manager applications are now be accepted for the 2024 season for all levels of play.  

They must be emailed to president@northshorell.com by January 5th, 2024.

A couple of reminders:

1. This application is different that the volunteer/background check application, which you will also need to complete.

2. Submission of an application is not a guarantee of a manager position. It will depend on our registration numbers, team counts and what division your own player(s) will potentially play in.
