The authors propose an integrated framework for antiracist language pedagogy that builds on critical inquiry, inclusive teaching, and a multiliteracies approach to academic language and literacy development.

Researchers examine the inequitable effects of abruptly moving millions into online learning environments without 1) requisite access to up-to-date computers and broadband internet access, 2) the skills needed to succeed in less structured online classes, or 3) teachers trained to effectively conduct classes online. They leverage Warschauer’s new framework to discuss ways to address these concerns and increase equity in online learning.
