Attend the FAFP Leadership Academy
The FAFP has once again partnered with Leadership in Practice, LLC to host a one-day development leadership workshop designed for physicians.  The 2022 FAFP Leadership Academy (FAFP-LA) will take place on Friday, April 8, during the 2022 Spring CME Forum in Orlando at the Hilton Bonnet Creek (April 7-10). Participants will experience a 6+ hour version of The Leadership Challenge Workshop, an evidence-based exploration of the 30 behaviors that describe exemplary leaders during the one-day workshop. The program is based on many years of study by leadership researchers Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner and is one of the most-used leadership models in use by organizations worldwide.

If you are interested in attending, we would encourage you to complete the survey by CLICKING HERE. The deadline is February 21, and attendance for this workshop is limited. If you have any questions, please email Adam Beamer at [email protected].

January Member Spotlight - Dr. Jonathan Hart
"We are at a critical juncture in the survival of physician-guided healthcare in the United States. As many contemplate or make the move to value-based healthcare, we’ve come to recognize that our current fee-for-service, volume-based method of delivering “care” is not sustainable from any perspective - cost, outcomes, or the health and well-being of both patients and physicians. What we need to understand, though, is that value-based care is more than simply closing a HEDIS Care Gap or properly coding a patient’s burden of illness."
