IVCLA Trip to St. Petersburg
  Join us in May of 2020 for an IVCLA World Partners Trip to St. Petersburg, Russia, where you will experience excursions to the impressive cathedrals and palaces, explore the fascinating historical museums and engage
with the local IVCLA visitor alumni.

$3,800/Person (double occupancy)

(Excludes international airfare & visa)
 
The trip fee includes hotel 
accommodations for 10 nights, all breakfasts, lunches, dinners, gratuities, entrance fees and tours, and in
country transportation.
 
  • US citizens require a visa when traveling to Russia. IVCLA will provide guidance on obtaining the visa.

  • This program is contingent upon a minimum group size of 8 (maximum group size 12). Spaces are limited, reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first- served basis.

  • Participants will be invited to an IVCLA pre-departure orientation.

  • A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due at time of registration. 
Trip Highlights Include:
  • Guided tours of the Hermitage Museum, St. Isaac's Cathedral, and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood.

  • Day trip to the Peterhof Palace.

  • Visit to the Amber Room, “Eighth Wonder of the World,” located in the Catherine Palace of Tsarskoye Selo.

  • Picturesque cruise on the Neva River.

  • Opera or Ballet at historic Mariinsky Theater.

  • Meetings with local organizations to discuss their work.

  • Two-day trip to the charming city of Pskov, located in western Russia, near Estonia. It’s known for the Pskov Krom, the largest stone fortress in Europe, and the Holy Trinity Cathedral, both dating from medieval times.

  • Farewell dinner with IVCLA exchange program Russian alumni.
