AAS 233 will include iPosters. Consider presenting an iPoster instead of a traditional poster for the option to include high-res images, videos, narration, and more.
Book a Hotel Room
The AAS has reserved a block of rooms for meeting attendees at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers. Book your hotel room by 11 December to ensure the group rate. Find the rates and details on the Travel & Lodging page.
If you're looking for a roommate to share the lodging expenses at the meeting, take advantage of the Roommate Search Forum to find a match.
Apply for a FAMOUS Travel Grant
AAS members presenting their research at the winter meeting are invited to apply for a FAMOUS Travel Grant. Priority will be given to members of historically underrepresented groups, such as scientists at small colleges, minorities, non-traditional students, and veterans, among others. The funding is intended to offset expenses for travel, meals, and lodging. FAMOUS Travel Grant applications are due 5 October.
Child & Dependent Care Grants
The AAS does not want the financial burden of child or dependent care to impact members' ability to attend meetings, especially early career scientists or those at small institutions with limited funding. To help, members may apply for a grant to subsidize dependent care services during a meeting, for use either at the meeting location or at home. Child and dependent care grant applications are due 30 November.
Exhibitors & Sponsors
The winter meeting Exhibit Hall fills up very quickly, so reserve your booth soon! The advanced deadline is 27 September, and you can find all of the details on the Exhibitors & Sponsors page.
