A World Record Run
Most would say completing a marathon is an impressive feat. But breaking a Guinness world record and raising money for a good cause in the process? We’re beginning to wonder if there is anything Appleton firefighter Cory Asimus can’t do.
33-year-old Appleton firefighter was not only chasing a world record, he was also raising money and awareness for Project Vaspire 316, a cause he cares deeply about.
Cory finished the full marathon in 4 hours, 53 minutes, 7 seconds wearing a 100-pound rucksack, beating the Guinness World Record by 10 minutes. Congratulations, Cory!
Cory is moved to make a difference. What Moves You?
