DESCRIPTION
In this online training, attendees will learn how to use the ASQ-3, a parent-completed child development screening tool, to identify developmental concerns during the crucial first five years of life.
A link to the online training will be provided to registered attendees closer to the event date.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Staff from diverse disciplines serving children 0-5 and their families, including: home visitors, public health nurses, fatherhood specialists, family advocates, community health workers, outreach workers, shelter workers, those working with children in foster care or at risk, mental health providers, Head Start and Early Head Start providers, and early care and education providers

Participants will be able to:

+Engage parents about their children’s development with the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3) using respectful and effective communication

Course meets the qualifications for 2.0 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences Provider #131600. F5AC is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs. F5AC maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content. CEU Certificates given at the end of the training to those completing training and the evaluation.
