DESCRIPTION
In this online training, attendees will learn how to use the ASQ-3, a parent-completed child development screening tool, to identify developmental concerns during the crucial first five years of life.

A link to the online training will be provided to registered attendees closer to the event date.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Staff from diverse disciplines serving children 0-5 and their families, including: home visitors, public health nurses, fatherhood specialists, family advocates, community health workers, outreach workers, shelter workers, those working with children in foster care or at risk, mental health providers, Head Start and Early Head Start providers, and early care and education providers

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Participants will be able to:

+Explain the importance and purpose of developmental screening for children ages 0-5

+Engage parents about their children’s development with the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3) using respectful and effective communication

F5AC maintains responsibility for this program/course and its content.
