Greetings!

Registration to visit Holden Village in 2022 is now open!

Each season has different rhythms and daily practices. Plan a trip to the Village to experience welcome and community at any time of year.

This year marks our 60th anniversary of summer programming in the Village. We will celebrate and explore the theme of Jubilee, and engage in the concept of abundant life for all people from a wide array of topics and perspectives. Stay tuned for an announcement of our teaching faculty schedule!

Holden Village continues to follow local, state, and federal protocols for remaining safe and healthy, so please remember that all plans are subject to change.

We look forward to welcoming you to Holden Village!

Faithfully,

Stacy Kitahata, Mark Bach, and Kathie Caemmerer-Bach
Holden Village Executive Directors
Summer 2022
Come to the Village in the summer for engaging teaching faculty sessions, phenomenal hiking, creative art classes, music-making, daily rhythms of liturgy, activities for children and youth, and more!
Cohort Model

The cohort model was well received this past summer, so we're bringing it back with additional flexibility. The cohort model creates a special opportunity to engage in community and grow connections with your fellow Villagers! It also allows opportunities each week to get into a wellness rhythm and share healthy practices as a community.

Arrival and Departure Days

All guests arrive in the Village on Mondays and depart on: Thursday (three-night stay), Saturday (five-night stay) or the following Monday (seven-night stay).
Winter, Spring, and Fall
We welcome you to a cozy, relational, joyful, and quieter time in the Village.

Bring your spirit of adventure, pack your sense of humor, and prepare for snow in all its glorious variations in the winter. Visit during the spring to experience the emerging changes in the Railroad Creek Valley. Fall is a magical time to visit the Village with changing leaves, misty mountains, fresh-brewed tea, and inspiring conversations.

Things to Know About Visiting

  • Choose the length of your stay (no cohort model)
  • Group visits available with discounted rates for groups of 15-40 people
  • Arrival and departure dates must align with Holden transport schedule
A Community of Wellness
Caring for the health and safety of all Villagers is a responsibility that is joyfully shared by all members of the community!

Vaccine Requirements

All Holden Village guests, staff, and faculty who are in age groups eligible to be vaccinated must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before arriving at Holden Village. Currently, this includes everyone 5 years and older.

Screening

All guests and staff arriving at Holden Village are required to test negative for COVID-19 in the 3 days prior to traveling on the boat up to the Village (including children ages 5 and older).

Three days before your arrival, you will receive an email and must complete an acknowledgement form that every member of your party (age 5 and older) has received a negative result on a COVID-19 test.
