As the wonderful season of Fall quickly approaches, so does the joyful celebration of adult Confirmation! Registration for the Fall celebration of adult Confirmation is now open. All parishes with adult candidates for Confirmation are to register their adults by Wednesday, October 1st. More information on the registration is included below.


In an effort to support parish leaders in the implementation of the new OCIA process, the diocese is offering a special training on Tuesday, September 16 with Dr. Scott Sollom from Franciscan University of Steubenville! There will be two trainings on this date. The morning session will be for clergy only. The afternoon session from 5:30pm to 8:00pm is open for all OCIA team members. We hope you will join us for the evening session! See below for more information.

Join the Fall OCIA Workshop!



We invite all parish staff and volunteer OCIA team members to a special training on the catechumenate on Tuesday, September 16th! Dr. Scott Sollom from Franciscan University will share about the beauty of OCIA and how it can provide for abundant spiritual fruit for your parish! Dr. Sollom will unpack the gift of the OCIA process and best practices for implementation. All OCIA team members are encouraged to attend! See below for more details.


Please note - there has been a change in location. The morning training for clergy will be at Nativity parish. The evening training for OCIA leaders will be at the Diocese of Green Bay campus.

Fall Celebration of Adult Confirmation - Registration Open


The Fall Adult Confirmation Mass at the Cathedral will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2025.


Registration for the liturgy is now open! Click below to sign up your candidates! All registrations are due by Wednesday, October 1.


Some details to be aware of:

  • Parish Confirmation/OCIA Leaders should register their candidates. Candidates should not register themselves.
  • This Mass is for adult candidates ONLY (18 years old and older) AND who are receiving Confirmation only.
  • If you have candidates who need First Eucharist in addition to Confirmation, please contact Mike Picard, mpicard@gbdioc.org, for further instructions.
  • If you have candidates who were not able to attend their parish high school student Confirmation celebration, please contact Kately Javier, kjavier@gbdioc.org, for further instructions.
  • If you have candidates for more than one parish, please register each parish separately.


You will need the following details to register your candidates:

  • Confirmation/OCIA Leaders names, emails and phone numbers
  • Parish name and location
  • Priest or pastoral leader name, email, phone number
  • Candidate name; chosen saint name (Candidates must choose a saint name. Please follow the instructions for entering the saint name); birthdate
  • Sponsor Name (Each candidate is allowed ONE sponsor who will present them to Bishop at the anointing)

Retreat for Adult Candidates

for Confirmation


The Adult Confirmation Mass at the Cathedral will take place in the Fall on Sunday, October 19, 2025. 


In preparation for the celebration, adults candidates are invited to a one day Confirmation retreat on Saturday, September 27 from 9am to 1pm. The retreat will take place at St Joseph's Chapel on the Diocesan Campus. This retreat is open to all candidates - whether they are being formed in their parishes or as part of the diocesan series.
