ICUF's mission is to champion financial well-being for all, guided by the credit union philosophy of "people helping people". Over the last few years, Iowans have been economically impacted by a variety of natural disasters and economic situations. Financial coaches are needed now more than ever - not only to help members with every-day financial burdens, but to create new opportunities where they previously weren't before.

Financial coaches connect with members and build trustful member relations. The 'People Helping People' Financial Training Program is structured to provide participants the training and tools needed to assist members through financial coaching relationships.

More than 150 Iowa credit union representatives have completed the program over the last few years, and we're excited for the next round of graduates to join this impactful group of alumni!

Who Should Participate?

The best candidates for this financial coach training are those who work daily with members. Branch managers, lenders or other member-facing staff who can find opportunity to assist members in difficult times will benefit the most from this training.

This coaching experience will be delivered through a series of live and engaging webinars throughout the month of May - allowing employees to stay in their credit unions and cutting down on travel and lodging costs. Each webinar will be approximately three hours long.
