Dear Camper,

As we move through another summer camp planning phase, we find ourselves again uncertain if we will once again be able to gather and enjoy activities and friendships at Camp He Ho Ha -but we sure hope so!

We couldn’t be more excited at the prospect of having everyone back at camp. As we look forward to summer 2022 we have some important information for you.

Registration for the 2022 summer programs will open on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. MST. 

All registrations will be done through our website. Even if you have attended Camp He Ho Ha before, you will need to create a NEW account.

Camp has a NEW camper database. There is no waiting line or queue with the new system. This database is VERY different from the last one and a lot more user-friendly. 

We're happy to report fees for the 2022 season will remain unchanged. Each of our camps costs $650 per camper and $300 per aide (if required). We've worked hard to keep costs low and haven't increased costs in 7 years. There is no deposit required for 2022 Summer Camps. With the current uncertainties of the feasibility of summer camp this season, we are allowing registration for all campers without making a deposit. Your payment will be processed manually.

Under the current health and safety restrictions, our camp family has many questions about we will be handling the Covid-19 restrictions exemption program and increased health and safety practices. Currently, each camper will need to be fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus, present proof of a privately-paid negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours of the start of Camp, or provide documentation of a medical exemption. At this time we are doing everything we can to have campers back at camp. As we near the start of the 2022 season we will update you about any requirements or changes. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

Every summer is special - an opportunity for each of our campers to challenge themselves, achieve success and create lifelong friendships. We look forward to making the summer of 2022 the best yet!

Bussing / Transportation
Bussing service is available between Edmonton and Camp He Ho Ha on the Camp-provided bus. There is a non-refundable bussing fee of $25 per direction.

During the registration process please indicate if you would like to access our bussing.

Costs: $25 one way, $50 both ways, $75 airport transfers one way, $150 airport transfers both ways.

The drop-off and pick-up location in Edmonton is the TELUS World of Science Centre located at 11211-142nd Street in the South West corner of the parking lot.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Registering for Camp
Please review this important information regarding 2022 summer camp registration and save or print the "Important Information Letter" to have nearby while you complete your registration. It will be very helpful.
  1. Camp has a NEW camper database.
  2. This database is VERY different from the last one.
  3. Even if you have attended Camp He Ho Ha before, you will need to create a NEW account. If you are a first-time user you will be asked to create an account.
  4. There will be no waiting line or queue.
  5. All aide, camper, and accompanying camper enrollments are completed through the same link (unlike before). If you are registering more than 1 individual (including aides and accompanying campers) you will not need separate login details for each, simply add additional campers to the enrollment where it says "add camper"
  6. The instructions for each step are at the top of each page.
  7. Initial enrollment requests are fast to submit, all other information can be entered at your convenience prior to the deadlines. You can stop after completing an enrollment request or you can work through the full process including all forms. 
  8. The medical form will be e-mailed to you with fields completed from the information that you have entered. This can only be done if ALL other forms are completed first. A request for the medical form can be completed through your account. (further instructions provided in the system)
