Registration Opens Soon!
Registration for the 26th Annual Air Force Marathon will open at midnight on January 1st, 2022! The best pricing of the year for all race distances will only be available through January 3rd so be sure to register early to lock in the New Year's Resolution price.

If you deferred your race registration from a previous year to a future year, you will receive an email prior to registration opening on January 1st with further information on how to register. Please note, you are not automatically registered for the 2022 event. You may use your code toward any 2022 event but your code only covers the dollar amount equal to the cost of your original registration.

For those who gifted their 2021 race registration to a US Airman or switched from the 2021 in-person event to the 2021 virtual event, you will receive an email with your 30% off discount code prior to registration opening on January 1st. You may use your code towards any 2022 event.

The 2022 featured aircraft is the AC-130J Ghostrider. The featured aircraft will be portrayed on the official race shirts, finisher medals, commemorative patches, and more.
Back in 2022!

  • The 3-Person Marathon Relay is back and in-person! Get ready to register on January 1st as there are limited spots available in this event.
  • With your feedback, the virtual race option will be available in addition to the in-person events in order for athletes from all over the world to join in from afar.
  • Sustainability efforts will continue in 2022 after achieving silver level responsible sport certification in 2019. The program plans to be implemented into more events throughout race weekend.
Registration Add-Ons

  • Commemorative Patch: add an additional 2022 patch featuring the AC-130J Ghostrider. Every participant has the option of one complimentary patch to be included in their race packet.
  • Pro Package: includes preferred race day parking, access to the Pro Package tent with refreshments and private baggage claim, post-race recovery massage, and ticket to Gourmet Pasta Dinner.

The 26th Annual Air Force Marathon, presented by Northrop Grumman, USAA, and Boeing is scheduled for Saturday, September 17th, 2022 with registration opening January 1st, 2022. The Health & Fitness Expo is scheduled for Thursday, September 15th and Friday, September 16th. Race weekend will also feature a Breakfast of Champions and Gourmet Pasta Dinner on Friday, September 16th.
