November 25th marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. Our Speaker Series that morning will shine a spotlight on this growing epidemic. Our panelists, Erin Lee from Interval House, and Pam Cross, Advocacy Director, Luke's Place, will present statistics on Intimate Partner Violence in Ontario, discussing the social and legal issues of this scourge.

In addition to bringing IPV as an epidemic to the attention of our members, we have chosen this day for the launch of the Ontario Council IPV as an Epidemic Toolkit. You may download a copy of the toolkit here.

This may be an alarming presentation but it is extremely important. Please join us for a morning of education, action, and advocacy.

The Speakers Series is free but advance registration is required. The start time indicated on your registration confirmation is 10 a.m. which is when the plenary will begin. Please plan to connect to the meeting a few minutes before 10. All attendees in the waiting room will be admitted to the meeting at about 9:55 a.m.s in your Club.
