Registration Reminder:
Adapting Restoration for a Changing Climate

Join the Delta Science Program virtually, February 2-3, 2022, to explore how immediate and long-term climate change considerations are integrated into the planning and implementation of restoration projects in the San Francisco Bay-Delta and beyond. The symposium will focus on the implementation and science of restoration and the social and political dimensions that shape projects. Please view the agenda for more details. Attendance is free with registration.
"It’s important that the state move quickly," said our Senior Environmental Scientist Dylan Chapple in a recent San Francisco Chronicle story on how restoration could be a blueprint for climate adaptation, given “wetlands’ role as a natural barrier to sea level rise.”
Share your thoughts on the importance of timely restoration projects with the hashtag #adaptingrestoration to join the conversation on social media before, during, and after the symposium!
The Delta Science Program provides science support to agencies and organizations planning and implementing adaptive management. We support science that will improve environmental decision-making under uncertain conditions in the Delta.
