I am pleased to announce two initiatives of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of HFMA this spring. These initiatives are designed to re-engage our finance professionals in Western Pennsylvania and encourage fraternity and collaboration among the area’s healthcare leadership. It’s been awhile since we had a chance to connect in person and we have some exciting ideas to reacquaint you with our Chapter.
Our first initiative is the HFMA Spring Fling on April 21 at Rivers Casino. The event covers a wide variety of topics affecting our local providers and payers. Such topics include, the No Surprises Act, FEMA, Healthcare Staffing, and a payer and CFO panel, among other sessions that offer up to 10 hours of certified professional education. Additionally, the one-day event will offer attendees the opportunity to network and enjoy an evening at one of Pittsburgh’s most exciting venues, Rivers Casino.
