Registration is Now Open for New CPI Webinar For Supervisors:

“Effective Supervision of Peer Specialists”

Are you a supervisor, clinical director, or program manager looking to support and empower the peer specialists on your team? Are you supervising peer specialists, but unsure of how to integrate them?

Peer support is a unique, evidence-based practice that requires a distinct approach to supervision. Traditional supervision models often do not align with the values and principles of peer support, which can lead to burnout, high turnover, and underutilizing peer support staff.

This interactive training is designed to equip you with the specialized tools, skills, and frameworks needed to effectively supervise peer specialists while honoring the integrity of their unique role.

We’re delighted to offer this new and important webinar on Thursday October 22, 1pm – 3pm.

Led by OMH’s Liz Breier, MAHAP, CPRP (Chief Advocacy Officer) and Em Wasserman, NYCPS (Deputy Director, Office of Advocacy and Peer Support), this webinar will focus on topics including core peer values and traditional supervision, peer values supervision, examples of effective peer specialist supervision, and practical tools.

Please note that this webinar requires preregistration in the CPI Learning Management System. Please click HERE to register. Capacity is limited, so please register soon.

CEUs for these training events are pending approval.
