Dear brothers and sisters in the Diocese of Florida,
The Convocation Steering Committee wishes you grace and peace in this Easter season.
Saturday, May 18 will be a special and holy day in the life of the Diocese. All members of the Diocese who wish to attend are welcomed to the Youth Pavilion at Camp Weed for a day of Conversation, Fellowship, and Communion. The goal of the day is a move towards unified mission within the Diocese of Florida, and to that end we pray it will be a day marked by honest conversation, understanding, compassion, forgiveness, and healing.
Not only is it important that we listen, understand, apologize, and forgive, but it is also important that we learn to work side by side for the sake of the Gospel, whether in ministry or in Convention. This day will be a decided move in that direction, and all voices are important to this process.
A final agenda will be forthcoming, but participants can expect the schedule to look similar to the following:
8:45 a.m.: Check-in
9:30 a.m.: Morning Prayer
9:45 a.m: Remarks by Bishop Mary Gray-Reeves

10:20 a.m.: 1st Small Group Session - Lectio Divina and Past Experiences with Reconciliation
11:15 a.m.: 2nd Small Group Session - Past Experience of the Diocese
Noon: Lunch
1:00 p.m.: Personal Time
