COVID-19 Fraud and Scams:
How to Recognize, Reject and Report

Tuesday, March 31 st , 2020
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
While the global COVID-19 pandemic continues, there are those who are actively exploiting people, perpetrating frauds, scams and devising new cyber crimes associated with COVID-19 . Nothing is more important than protecting and safeguarding the well-being of older adults in our communities. Helping them protect their finances during these difficult times is critical and being informed is the first step.

EAPO is joined by the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, Ontario Securities Commission and the Ontario Provincial Police, as we host a webinar that brings to light some of these crimes, providing important information on how to protect ourselves and the most vulnerable in our communities from falling prey to these fraudulent behaviours.

Speakers will highlight the new emerging approaches used by fraudsters, but more importantly they will share with participants where and how these can be reported.

Please join us for this all important session and learn how YOU can protect yourself, your friends and family members during these challenging times and help stop these growing trends.
