EMLRC's EMT & Paramedic Refresher Courses both meet and exceed recertification requirements set by the Florida Department of Health Bureau of EMS. Our courses are taught by instructors from First Response Training Group and cover topics such as airway management, patient assessment, pediatrics, medical and trauma emergencies, and more.

EMT Summer Refresher Course

July 25-28, 2022

EMLRC, 3717 S. Conway Rd., Orlando, FL

8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Description: The EMLRC has been a leader in lifesaving education throughout the United States for over 20 years and is both a CECBEMS and FL DOH accredited provider of continuing education for the EMS community. EMLRC’s EMT refresher course is for the practicing EMT wishing to recertify their licensure. It both meets and exceeds the Florida Department of Health Bureau of EMS’ and the NREMT’s recertification requirements as it offers a maximum of 32 hours of continuing education. The course is based on Jones & Bartlett's EMT Transition Manual and includes topics on airway management, patient assessment, medical and trauma emergencies. Participants will also have the opportunity to recertify in CPR/BLS.

Target Audience: Licensed Florida EMT's and/or NREMT's

Paramedic Summer Refresher Course

August 15-18, 2022

Description: The EMLRC has been a leader in lifesaving education throughout the United States for over 20 years and is both a CAPCE and FL DOH accredited provider of continuing education for the EMS community. EMLRC’s paramedic refresher course is for paramedics wishing to recertify their Florida licensure. It both meets and exceeds the Florida Department of Health Bureau of EMS’ recertification requirements as it offers a maximum of 32 hours of continuing education. The course is based on Brady/Pearson Paramedic Transition Manual and includes topics on airway management, patient assessment, medical and trauma emergencies. Participants will also have the opportunity to recertify in CPR.

Target Audience: Licensed Florida Paramedics and/or NREMT-P's
