This year's event will take place the morning of Saturday, May 25 at
Cullen Central Park in Whitby featuring an accessible 1km, 3km or 5km walk through the scenic trails. There will be games, entertainment and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Participating in the Walk is a great way to honour someone you know who has been impacted by Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. Walking also helps the nearly 12,000 people in Durham Region who are living with dementia and their care partners by raising awareness and funds to support ASDR.
Last year we raised an incredible $150,000 and with the increased demand for our services we continue to need your support. Register today and help us provide education, counselling, and social recreation programs for all those impacted by dementia in our community.
