The Toronto Construction Association Environmental Committee invites you to attend a seminar on the topic of: Waste Audit and Reduction Plan Regulation 102/94 and 103/94 In Construction and Demolition Projects Panel Discussion.

As you may know, these regulations are applicable to the demolition, retrofit, or construction of buildings with a floor plan of 2,000 m 2 or more.

Panelists will discuss the history of these regulations, personal experience with the implementation of these requirements, the challenges, and potential lessons learned, as well as a look at where these regulations may take us and the intent of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC).

Ms. Sestito has been with EllisDon just under 6 years. She began at EllisDon in the civil division as an environmental project coordinator and was promoted into her current role as the first Corporate Environmental Manager across Canada at EllisDon. She has worked with operations to provide in house environmental specialists both in the field and at the proposal stage from cradle to grave.

As the Environmental Manager, Mr. Beharry is responsible for implementation and maintenance of the Environmental program in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 standards and legal & legislative regulations.

Waste Container Services Inc.
Mr. Lisanti has over 30 years’ experience in the waste industry. During the majority of those years he was responsible for servicing the construction sector and their specific waste management needs. From Sales and Sales Management to Operations and Facility Management and continuing on to Government Affairs Mr. Lisanti has played an active role in waste management in the GTA.

Jay Heming
Environmental Manager
Lions Group Inc.
Mr. Heming has been working in the demolition industry for 16 years. Currently overseeing the Lions Group Inc. environmental program as well as various other project management duties on select projects.
