April is Stress Awareness Month. We wanted to make sure you are taking time to invest in your body.
Reiki: Reiki is a Japanese energy healing system. The name comes from Rei meaning "higher wisdom" and Ki meaning "life force."
 
Reiki has many health benefits that result from balancing our chakras, or the energy centers of the body. Reiki can bring you stress reduction and relaxation, in addition to boosting your immune system through energy balancing. It can help with many physical ailments, improve sleep, and support emotional balance. 

Stress can be debilitating, and it can cause and/or aggravate health problems. And since stress is a normal part of human existence it’s important to recognize stress and implement strategies for coping so not to cause harm to our health.

  • Breath- Accept there are events you cannot control. Take a deep breath and focus on the exhale.

  • Be Positive - A positive attitude can off set difficult situations

  • Find your stressors and effective ways to cope with them - Remember that you can learn to control stress because stress comes from how you respond to stressful events

Stress is a normal part of life and something you cannot control, however you can control your response to stress.
