Reimagine Campaign: CBHA included in MolinaCares $1.6 million grant funding!
Dear Colleagues,

CBHA is proud to join organizations across the nation, including NAMI, to bring awareness to crisis prevention and intervention services during "REIMAGINE week," November 15-19. Each day, we will highlight an advocacy effort CBHA has pursued to help reimagine our response to people in crisis, culminating on Friday at our CBHA Members' Virtual Town Hall meeting, where we will be joined by Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, a leader who is committed to strengthening the crisis continuum of care. We invite our colleagues in the behavioral health space to join the campaign this week and lift up best practices and advocacy wins in support of crisis prevention and intervention services. Check out the site NAMI has created and register for the week and amplify CBHA's social media posts as well.

Today, CBHA is proud to highlight MolinaCares Accord including us in the California Equity and Accessibility Initiative investment! The funds will support training for staff at the 13 National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Call Centers of which 4 are CBHA member agencies.

In collaboration with Molina Healthcare of California, the MolinaCares Accord (“MolinaCares”) launched its California Equity and Accessibility Initiative with an initial $1.6 million to advance health equity throughout the state.

Established by Molina Healthcare, Inc., the MolinaCares Accord oversees a community investment platform created to improve the health and well-being of disadvantaged populations by funding meaningful, measurable, and innovative programs and solutions that improve health, life, and living in local communities.
