Welcome Naomi and Amanda!

Naomi and her husband moved to Grande Prairie in 2011, with a plan to relocate in five years. Now, she hopes to never move because she loves the people and community here. Naomi's career has been split between therapeutic and administrative work. She is passionate about helping others. When she isn't working, Naomi is often volunteering at her kids' school or with her Neighborhood Association. Her downtime is best spent with coffee, puzzles, and her cats.

Amanda was born and raised in the Peace Country and has called Grande Prairie her home for the past 25 years. Amanda attended Grande Prairie Regional College and had the privilege to work at the GPRC Foundation for 10 years. During this time Amanda met her husband Pat. They have three children together. The kids keep them busy between school, swimming, hockey and gymnastics but they wouldn’t have it any other way. Aside from cheering on from the sidelines, Amanda and Pat love to travel and are always thinking about the next adventure. Over the years Amanda has had the opportunity to meet many people within the community and she is excited to connect, build relationships and assist agencies within our region.

We are so glad to add Naomi Bressey as our Administrative Assistant and Amanda Cyr as our Grants Manager to our small but mighty team!

Please join us in welcoming these two incredible ladies to the team!

Giving This Season!

As we head into the holiday season, we have a chance to give back and receive a tax receipt to lessen our tax burden for the 2023 year. GivingTuesday is November 28 and we are focusing donations to our Community Impact Fund; this supports immediate community needs throughout Northwestern Alberta.

Don’t forget to make your year-end donations and please reach out to our team if you want to donate publicly traded securities! This can be an easy and effective way to make a difference, especially ahead of the AMT changes set to be enforced in 2024.
